Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, terminating connections, and mounting conduit and electrical boxes.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and comply with OSHA safety standards and local building codes.
- Use power tools and testing equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we provide full training.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to travel to job sites across California and North Carolina.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
