Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan installations.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently with minimal downtime.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical details and project timelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license (State of Georgia).
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
