Responsibilities
- Receive On-The-Job Training: Learn from certified master plumbers to master residential and commercial plumbing systems, pipefitting, and repair techniques.
- Assist with Installations: Support the installation of pipes, valves, fixtures, and appliances according to blueprints and building codes.
- Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Assist in diagnosing and fixing leaks, clogs, water heater issues, and other plumbing emergencies.
- Equipment Care: Maintain, clean, and organize tools and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient job site.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company protocols at all times.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on job progress.
- Travel: Travel to various job sites within the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (required for travel).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in tight spaces or adverse weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings for emergency calls.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, a problem-solving mindset, and a reliable work ethic.
- Basic Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to read and follow instructions.
