Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Plumbers: Support the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems under supervision.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret technical drawings and schematics to understand layout and installation requirements.
- Tool Operation: Properly use and maintain a wide variety of plumbing hand and power tools.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, explain repairs, and maintain a clean work area.
- Emergency Response: Respond to service calls and resolve issues such as leaks, clogs, and pipe failures efficiently.
- Material Handling: Transport and handle heavy materials, pipes, and equipment safely.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Driver’s License is required; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attitude: Strong willingness to learn, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.
- Background: Clean background check and drug screening required.
