Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthwork operations
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts)
- Install/finish concrete structures and foundations
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Maintain tool inventory and equipment cleanliness
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Heavy equipment operation certification
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screen
