Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems (pipes, fixtures, water heaters)
- Diagnose and resolve complex plumbing emergencies
- Read blueprints and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication
- Train apprentices and junior technicians
- Manage inventory and order plumbing materials
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid DC Master Plumber license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours (evenings/weekends emergencies)
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in trenchless technology and pipe lining
