Responsibilities
- Lead Global Policy Formulation: Develop and enforce comprehensive AI ethics frameworks and compliance strategies for all 2026 product lines.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-Suite executives, legal teams, and external auditors to ensure alignment on risk management protocols.
- Technical Auditing: Conduct deep-dive audits of machine learning models to identify bias, security vulnerabilities, and potential regulatory breaches.
- Future-Proofing: Anticipate emerging global regulations regarding autonomous agents and proactively adapt our governance structures.
- Training & Culture: Establish a company-wide culture of responsible AI by conducting workshops and training sessions for engineers and data scientists.
- Incident Response: Oversee the response strategy for AI-related ethical incidents or data privacy breaches.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Law (JD), Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in AI/ML governance, compliance, or risk management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, neural networks, and data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI Acts).
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable technical guidelines.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex ethical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
