Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on construction sites
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up materials
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform basic landscaping and site cleanup duties
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Valid California Driver's License preferred
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments (weather permitting)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculations
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
