Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate project timelines and communicate with clients and team members
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
- Train apprentices and junior electricians on best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana electrician license (Journeyman or Master required)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and local building codes
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
- Clean driving record and valid Indiana driver's license
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
