Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site construction tasks.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in strict accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and project instructions.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and pouring concrete.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues to the foreman.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow verbal and written instructions.
