Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site construction tasks.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools safely at the job site.
- Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and levels, following all safety protocols.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal, trash disposal, and waste management.
- Transport heavy materials across the construction site using dollies or forklifts as needed.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans to understand task requirements.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor for long hours, including lifting and standing.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Miami, FL.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic understanding of construction safety is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
