Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan wiring layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, adhering to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members regarding project status and requirements.
- Keep tools and work area clean, organized, and in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Apprentices considered with significant experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
