Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and organizing materials
- Perform physically demanding tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete work, framing, demolition, and site cleanup
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized workspaces
- Read blueprints and follow precise instructions from site supervisors
- Operate light machinery (forklifts, jackhammers) with proper certification
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain accurate time logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required
