Responsibilities
- Assist in Construction: Support skilled tradespeople with various tasks including framing, drywall hanging, painting, and general cleanup.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and supplies at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools (drills, saws, levels) under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and site-specific safety protocols.
- Measurement & Layout: Assist in measuring materials and marking cutting lines on workpieces using measuring tools and marking devices.
- Weather Adaptability: Work outdoors in various weather conditions to ensure project continuity.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome entry-level candidates who are eager to learn the trade.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic and read a tape measure.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Teamwork: Must be a reliable team player willing to work alongside other crew members.
