Responsibilities
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and ensure proper storage
- Assist carpenters and masons with project-specific tasks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and protocols
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety principles
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- 1+ years construction experience preferred but not required
