Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety compliance
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, measurement, and installation tasks
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery under supervision
- Follow blueprints and project specifications with meticulous attention to detail
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily project milestones
- Report maintenance needs for equipment and tools promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculation
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and heights
