Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Use hand and power tools safely to complete wiring tasks, including conduit bending and termination.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to report progress and issues.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed for daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (trade school certificate is a plus but not required).
- Basic understanding of mathematics and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments (indoors and outdoors).
- Willingness to obtain required certifications and licenses upon employment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn the trade.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
