Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various on-site tasks.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with blueprint interpretation.
- Ensure job sites are kept clean and organized at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads (50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Experience in skilled trades or general labor is highly valued.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
