Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and securing materials
- Operate heavy machinery including jackhammers, forklifts, and power tools
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, pouring concrete, and installing fixtures
- Maintain strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Perform site cleanup and waste management daily
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience required
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Must possess reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends when needed
- Experience with trenching, excavation, or concrete finishing preferred
