Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople in concrete pouring, framing, demolition, and site preparation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and equipment setup
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and supervisor instructions
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 4 PM) in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour certification (provided on-site)
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
