Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools (forklifts, skid steers, jackhammers) safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various onsite tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by adhering to strict OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions.
- Perform basic measurements, cuts, and assemblies of materials to specifications.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and hold heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material estimation.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
