Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on job sites.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks as needed.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and generators under supervision.
- Demolition: Perform light demolition and removal of debris and waste materials.
- Measurement: Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to blueprints or instructions.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs).
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse team of construction professionals.
- Safety Mindset: Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Valid ID: Ability to provide valid proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
