Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction duties including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.
- Load and unload construction tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with crew leads and team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and verbal instructions to complete tasks accurately.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Los Angeles job site.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
- No prior experience required for entry-level candidates; on-the-job training provided.
