Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including site preparation, material handling, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (drills, saws, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, masonry, and installation work
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, or forklifts (with certification)
- Complete daily task reports and inventory checks
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (provided if needed)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
