Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on active construction sites
- Load/unload materials, operate hand tools, and maintain clean work areas
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Read basic blueprints and execute site preparation tasks
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, sanders) under supervision
- Participate in trenching, concrete pouring, and scaffolding setup
- Complete daily timecards and equipment inspections
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, levels, saws) preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily on uneven terrain
