Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on construction sites
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and operating hand tools
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Complete daily tasks efficiently while meeting project deadlines
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of construction or related labor experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (will train if needed)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
