Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Educate customers on energy-efficient solutions and proper equipment usage.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle physical labor.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with digital job management software.
