Responsibilities
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily installation and assembly tasks.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on the job site efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools under the direct supervision of certified operators.
- Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by removing debris and performing routine equipment checks.
- Measurement: Perform basic measurements and calculations to ensure materials are cut and prepared correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare construction sites by digging, leveling, and clearing areas for building.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; a strong work ethic is more important than experience.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic hand tools is a plus, but not required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to learn new skills quickly.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
