Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic machinery and hand tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assistance: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long hours, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing on feet.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation are required.
- Experience: Prior construction or landscaping experience is a plus, but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and overtime when required.
