Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial wiring installations.
- Learn to operate and maintain electrical hand and power tools safely.
- Prepare work areas by digging, drilling, and installing conduit and cable trays.
- Help with pulling wire, stripping ends, and terminating circuits under supervision.
- Perform basic electrical inspections and troubleshooting tasks.
- Ensure all job sites are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred (but not mandatory).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and wire calculations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to be trained and to learn new skills daily.
