Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Tools & Materials: Learn to properly handle, measure, and install conduit, wiring, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Blueprint Reading: Study and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist in testing circuits and identifying electrical issues under supervision.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and property owners as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We are looking for raw talent and a teachable attitude.
- License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of mathematics is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites.
