Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks such as digging, carrying materials, and cleaning job sites.
- Load and unload lumber, bricks, concrete, and other materials from trucks using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
- Prepare construction sites by removing debris, erecting temporary structures, and ensuring proper drainage.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to coordinate daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Valid Driver's License is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods.
