Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials to various work areas efficiently.
- Equipment Assistance: Operate and maintain basic construction equipment under supervision.
- Blueprint Reading: Assist in reading and understanding basic blueprints and layouts to ensure accurate work.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Skilled Trade Support: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing on uneven surfaces.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Safety Compliance: Willingness to wear PPE and adhere to OSHA safety standards.
- Communication: Basic communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
