Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and cleaning work areas.
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, masons) with building, repairing, and installing structures.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently according to safety protocols.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and organize construction sites.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and site plans when applicable.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines on-site.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and perform physical labor for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and heights (if applicable).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for motivated candidates.
