Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as wiring, terminating cables, and bending conduit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Test electrical systems and troubleshoot minor issues under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
- Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driverβs License and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic understanding of mathematics for measurements and calculations.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a color vision test is essential for safety.
- A strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude toward safety protocols.
