Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools under supervision, including jackhammers, saws, and compressors.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping, removing waste, and organizing tools after shifts.
- Assistance: Provide general support to skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing/walking on various surfaces.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Documentation: Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a plus, but not mandatory.
