Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Maintenance: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and ensuring the work area is clean and organized.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the site efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate basic hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced crew members.
- Support Trades: Provide general assistance to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Blueprint Reading: Observe and learn to interpret basic blueprints and work orders.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with no prior construction experience; training will be provided.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks outdoors.
- Work Ethic: A strong willingness to work hard, learn new skills, and contribute to the team's success.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
