Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials (bricks, lumber, concrete) using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment such as concrete mixers, compressors, and generators under supervision.
- Assisting Trades: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) by preparing areas and fetching tools as needed.
- Cleaning & Safety: Maintain a clean and safe job site by following all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols.
- Hand Tools: Utilize hand tools effectively, including hammers, saws, levels, and measuring tapes.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train the right candidate, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing on concrete.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as project demands require.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the job site is mandatory.
- Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
