Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks on the job site.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal and trash disposal.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans under supervision.
- Maintain a high level of physical stamina and work well in a team setting.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to work night shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions.
