Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, wheelbarrows) under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Load/un construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform trenching, excavation support, and ground leveling tasks
- Participate in framing, concrete pouring, and finishing work as trained
- Complete daily progress reports and quality checks
Qualifications
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid California Driver's License (required for equipment operation)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Sacramento County
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Commitment to completing safety training certifications
