Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision, including generators, compressors, and mixers.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe job site by sweeping, removing trash, and organizing tools after work shifts.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks as needed to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills and follow safety protocols.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well within a team structure.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and fellow workers.
- Valid ID: Ability to provide valid identification for work authorization in the United States.
