The Role:
As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in various stages of construction projects, ensuring that sites are safe, organized, and efficient. You will work closely with skilled tradesmen to complete tasks accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of construction materials and equipment.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal and waste disposal.
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks such as mixing concrete, digging, and setting forms.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations on site at all times.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work part-time hours as scheduled.
