Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both residential and commercial buildings.
- Prepare job sites by organizing materials, tools, and equipment according to blueprints and safety plans.
- Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate electrical devices under direct supervision.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with local and national codes (NEC).
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the site supervisor.
- Learn to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and blueprints.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – We are looking for the right attitude and willingness to learn.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
