Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting materials on and off the job site.
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations and projects.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Prepare construction sites by setting up barriers, signage, and necessary equipment.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately.
- Handle physical labor including digging, lifting, and moving heavy objects as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long durations.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols is a plus.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- No specific construction experience required; training will be provided.
