Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic machinery and hand tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assistance: Help skilled workers with basic tasks such as mixing concrete, carrying lumber, or assisting with carpentry and painting.
- Reporting: Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
- Inventory Control: Help track and manage on-site inventory to ensure nothing is lost or wasted.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long hours.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance is required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
