Job Overview:
As a Construction Laborer, you will support various trades including carpentry, masonry, and concrete work. You will be responsible for ensuring the job site is safe, organized, and ready for production.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywall hanging, and painting preparation.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials and tools to and from the job site as directed.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and site plans when applicable.
- Perform site cleanup and waste disposal duties at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in construction labor or a related skilled trade is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
