Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and burst pipes.
- Install and maintain plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and water heaters.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical diagrams to plan pipe layouts.
- Use hand and power tools, pipe cutters, and threaders to complete installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure plumbing systems function efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain problems and provide transparent estimates.
- Adhere to all local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a mechanical aptitude.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to obtain required state licenses and certifications through our training program.
