Responsibilities
- Assist with various construction tasks including excavation, site preparation, and material handling.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials at the job site.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, layouts, and diagrams under supervision.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform general cleanup and site maintenance to ensure a professional work environment.
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
