Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Assist in the setup and preparation of construction areas, including scaffolding and temporary structures.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Perform general cleanup and site maintenance to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as assigned.
- Move debris and heavy materials using dollies, wheelbarrows, or forklifts when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, safety gear, and procedures.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Ability to work well in a team and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Previous experience in construction or labor is a plus but not required.
