Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential safety hazards or code violations.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide effective, safe solutions.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required by project needs.
